Computer Technologies Dept.
Welcome to our department's web site. This site is operated and maintained by the faculty of the CT Department at GBC. Currently there are six full-time instructors in this department on the Elko campus. We also have faculty members in Winnemucca, Pahrump, and Ely who teach courses for the CT Department in addition to their duties with other departments. And last but certainly not least, we rely on many dedicated adjunct instructors to help cover our various class offerings. We offer a variety of classes covering many technologies including: courses for computer novices, office applications like the MS Office Suite, programming in VB and C++, computer networking, and specialized applications in graphics, GIS, multimedia, Linux, land surveying/geomatics, and more. We also have courses for students who would like to succeed with MCSE, Comp-TIA, and other certification exams.
